Community Intelligence Leads to Major Drug Seizure in Rochdale

Acting on vital intelligence provided by the local community, officers from the P1 North Neighbourhood Team executed a Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at a property on St Alban Street, Rochdale, on 5th July 2025.

Upon entry, officers uncovered a sophisticated and large-scale drugs cultivation operation spanning three floors of the premises. A substantial quantity of Class B drugs was seized, marking a significant disruption to criminal activity in the area.

One male was arrested at the scene and has since been charged and remanded to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on 7th July 2025.

Investigations remain ongoing as officers continue to develop and act upon all intelligence received. The team remains committed to pursuing criminality and safeguarding the community.
